There is a lot of activity in the TPRA offices this week. The new TPRA community area has been publicly released and the Forum motion forum has begun being phased out.
The staff has been working countless hours to prepare the new site and so far the work is progressing well.
Beyond the work that still needs to be done to the new site we are facing a major data dump in the Race Points Management (RPM) database. We are planning to remove all of the events and series that we ran for GT5P, but not the drivers or teams.
This will make the transition to GT5 as painless as possible for the returning drivers.
We regret that we will loose the history of events, but we see no other way. The results we collected for GT5P were a learning experience for us and hopefully we can produce a much more organized and user friendly format for GT5.
