GT 500 | Season 1 | Spa | June 20 | Race 5 of 6

Since I have no shortage of credits in the game lol, I bought a Rayberg NSX first and was running in the 2:23:750 range. Then I backed out and bought a '06 Nissan Xanavi Nismo Z and I ran a 2:17:500. I'm not getting any faster than that time. I ran it in a lounge with nba336 but I don't know if that time will count? If not all this save replay, etc, etc stuff I still don't get. Sorry about all that but I had a severe concussion years ago that makes understanding things that have multiple steps that I'm not used to hard to do. I'll eventually get it but I do want to race tonight. If I can't use that time or just start the race in last place I guess I'll have to miss this race also like I did last night.

Dont worry BH, we'll get you in the race one way or another.

I added him as a friend also (along with nba336) and he said he'll help me along tonight with the pre-race chat and whatnot, but other help if I need it immediately would be awesome from anyone, either tonight or later on at a different race event.

You'll always find someone at TPRA that will help, a couple of races under your belt and you wont have any problems.
Except keeping up with the Aliens, like most of us do.

Welcome, I'm fairly new here myself but yet it's starting to piece togather after getting a few races completed. I can definitely relate to being somewhat overwhelmed at first but you'll get it figured out. Everyone here is very helpful and top notch people so I think you will enjoy it with a little more experience.

If I can help feel free to add me or pm me you may have some of the same queations I had starting out.

One thing that really helps is getting on Teamspeak. This is the preferred method of communication during the events. It also becomes a great place to get questions answered quickly and get to know everyone.

This a great place to race, I only race in the TPRA and there's a reason for that.

Is it possible to join this race even though I'm new? If so, I'm confused on the whole qualifying thing. Can I just start last? lol

Thanks for my first TPRA experience gentlemen. Although I did crappy lol, I had fun. I was having major problems with that Nismo Z. I did great in qualifying even though I wasn't the fastest. For some odd reason I just couldn't keep the back end from not swinging out from me. I nailed the wall a couple of times, and as race etiquette, I let everyone by me as I had no chance of winning that race. But do notice, I didn't quit the race It's fun either way..and one more thing.. I KNEW I should've went with the GT-R...I'm so much better with that car....Thanks for all that helped and looking very much to the future with you all.

Thanks man. Yea, only cars that I have settings for are the FGT and NASCAR's. Even though I have every car in the game that we can have here in the U.S. I have full upgraded all parts on the cars. So the car I was running tonight I just went to the dealership and bought it new and ran it, again, I'm not short on credits. I have more credits than I know what to do with lol. So needless to say, all my cars when I do race except for the one's mentioned above I race on default settings. Only thing I'll tweek is the top end speed on the transmission for the track. Will for sure get into more racing. I'll join up in the NASCAR stuff once I get my table setup for my wheel done, until then I'm still using the DS3.
