Assetto Corsa ‘Ferrari 70th Anniversary Pack’ Arrives October 31 on Consoles

    Posted: 27 Oct 2017 07:10 AM PDT

Well, that was quick. After stating that the DLC had reached approval last week, Kunos has revealed a release date for Assetto Corsa’s Ferrari 70th Anniversary Pack. Players will be able to download the new content October 31.

The announcement was made this morning on the Facebook page for the title and locks in a date for both Xbox One and PlayStation 4. If you’ve been after more Ferrari goodness in Kunos’ hardcore simulator, then you’ll want to download this pack.

Celebrating the marque’s 70th anniversary, seven new vehicles will be added to the Assetto Corsa roster. There’s some good variety in the pack so whether you’re a fan of the manufacturer’s road cars or motorsport icons, there’s something in here for everyone. The full list of included Ferraris are listed below:

    • 1962 250 GTO
    • 1967 330 P/4
    • 1967 312/67
    • 1984 288 GTO
    • 2004 F2004
    • 2017 812 Superfast
    • 2017 SF70H
Just a reminder, this pack is not included in the Assetto Corsa season pass. Pricing is expected to be along the same lines as the Steam version, which is currently available for $7.99/£5.59.

Having launched last month on PC, this is an impressive turnaround time to get the pack on consoles. Players on Xbox and PS4 have very much been on a different release schedule but the unified process in approaching update approvals seems to be working. Credit goes to Kunos for remaining committed to the console fanbase and delivering this latest DLC so soon.

With Steam sales on this week, I have finally picked up Assetto Costa. Also got the Dream Packs and the Porsche Packs. Now, if only I can find some space on the PC for the installation.

After watching some Youtube videos on racing with VR, I was tempted....but my eyesight are bad enough already, no need for further outside influence to make it worse. Shelving the VR idea. :(

    More FREE DLC from Kunoz:

No release date has been issued by the Italian developers as yet, however with Kunos founder Massarutto taking to social media with teaser images from the new content it is not beyond the realms of possibility to wonder if a release is closer than we might imagine, potentially even possible for a 2017 launch window to help us all get through the usual festive activities that often occur during the month of December.

In the latest batch of image teasers Massarutto has giving us a first glimpse of the stunning Alfa Romeo 33 Stradale, one of the stand out vehicles that look set to form part of the six strong pack coming to Assetto Corsa for free as part of the 'Bonus Pack 3' DLC.

Not only will these six cars be added to the simulation at no extra cost, the studio will also be throwing in a fully laser scanned version of the Mazda Laguna Seca Raceway circuit, one of the most iconic and visually stunning racing locations in the United States of America and surely a potential fan favourite when it hits AC in the near future.

So in case you had forgotten, here is the run down of the 'Bonus Pack 3' DLC and our recent interview with the developers as they discuss the new content...

    Bonus Pack 3 DLC Contents:
    • Laguna Seca
    • Alfa Romeo Giulia Quadrifoglio
    • Alfa Romeo 33 Stradale
    • Lamborghini Sesto Elemento
    • Lamborghini Huracan Performante
    • Maserati Quattroporte
    • Pagani Huayra BC
    Latest info.

The release date for PC users will be December 20, console users will have to wait a little longer and will receive the pack soon after.
