I checked using R2 = look right on T500, it works, but only on bumper and cockpit view.
I got it working on t150, it mustve not saved or something.
I've absolutely fallen in love with GT sport daily races. At least the Grp. 3 nurburgring race. Have had competitive, respectful racing, very impressed.
I agree DL, I've done about 20 Gr4 races at Kyoto, and not one major incident, a couple of side by side rubs in the turns, but all good competitive racing.
The grouping seems to be working fine, always close racing for the most part.
If you are doing DM's Credit making races, it maxes out at Cr 20,000,000
I have been trying to, but someone obviously doesn't want me making easy credits. Both Sunday night and last night I had set up an 18 hours race and both times I've lost power. GRRRRRRRRRRRRRR!
I've been to your area today Jimmy and saw the damages the storm did yesterday. I hope you did not suffer too much from it.
I did a 24 hours, paid 5,910 Millions and 47,000 Exp. A suggestion : We should put ourselves offline if we do this, there is no way to know if our friends are online or piling cash right now.
20 million isn't a problem. I'm spending as fast as I make it...
i got pole by .002 seconds, fastest lap on lap one, and the win at gr.3 suzuka! never going to have that happen again!
Jimmy1971: you really need a UPS.
It would have helped yesterday as the power was out for only a few seconds, but I don't think it would have handled the 9 hour power outage on Monday.
It looks like PD have figured out that we were making too much Credits with this trick, you only get Mileage points and Mileage now.
Yeaah, I just discovered that...
Guess they do not really want anyone being able to actually use too many of the Gr.X cars...
Bob went round and round all night, I went trough the finish line and it told me I gained 3,9 millions and 47,000 points. Then a system update, which also did reboot the game, my 3,9 million disappeared so did my points... I want my money back ! Litteraly ! Oh well, it was good the time it did last.
That's how I found out after a 12 hour run.
I remember someone asking about making a TPRA decal for the livery editor. Well, I gave it a shot, but I don't have access to the decal uploader.
If you're one of the lucky one's with early access to the system, you can try this and see how it looks in-game...
How big did it turn out to be? There is a 12k limit on file size, which means pretty much forget downloading any you find on "Free SVG" sites...
Anyone know of a free optimizer program? Inkscape fails on file size when it comes to converting to SVG from other formats...
Yes, I am resisting having to learn Inkscape... lol
I'd like a Renault Logo, commonly put on those vehicle's roofs when raced. Found a good JPEG, but won't get below 25+k in conversion and the SVG I found, while simpler, is much bigger...
Every .gif I've converted to .svg has come out to less than 2kb in size. I'm using Inkscape for this. All images I've done so far are orignally .gif files with transparent backgrounds. When I select the file to open in Inkscape, a "gif bitmap image import" box pops up.
Here are the settings I'm using in that box=
Image import Type: Link
Image DPI: Default import resolution
Image Rendering Mode: None (auto)
I don't remember what they were originally, but I do know that I was having large file sizes before I changed to the above settings. I think the "Import Type" was the culprit though.
With all that said, I don't have access to GTS's community page @ gran-turismo.com yet, so I don't know if my files actually work in the game yet. So if you or anyone here has access, please try the .svg file I linked to in my previous post & let me know if it works. Hopefully I'm not wasting my time converting.
>>EDIT<< I'm afraid my converting is for nothing...
While hovering my mouse over the "Image Import Type" choices, it appears I didn't read far enough.
It mentions that using the "Link" option results in smaller .svg file size, but "Link references a file outside this SVG document and all files must be moved together."
So, I'm with dm here. Anyone got any other options for creating .svg's?
