Welcome to the October edition of the TPRA newsletter, only a little late. This month we pulled a "PD" (PolyphonyDigital) which is a little bigger than a "golfpro", but smaller than a "hey".
September was a hectic month. Between the big international gaming expos, and the recent release of GT5 on PSP, there have been plenty of distractions keeping us from meeting our deadlines. Playing with the PSP while waiting at airports for connecting flights left little time to worry about little things like deadlines. Now with summer winding down, and winter soon upon us, it's time to get the driving rigs dusted off and ready for the winter season.

That's not to say it's been all fun and games for the TPRA staff. A lot of time has been spent exploring the depths of the RPM league management system, and we are eagerly awaiting the opportunity to push it to its limits, just as you push your cars to their limits. Many of you have discovered the wealth of information that can be tracked by RPM, and all the features it contains. Even more is on the way.

This month's issue contains our regular article from the tuning guru, KartRacer, and a very interesting and humorous story from Seniorl8r on the ups and downs of racing as a couple. It's also a little smaller as well as being a little late. The staff took a breather, if you will, in preparation for increased content in future editions beginning in November.

For the next edition we will have a brand new section entitled, "Ask Grant Turismo", our own Dear Abby with a stick shift. You may use the "Submit An Article" button to post your questions to Mr. Turismo on any subject you wish... which racing wheel is best, why Gran Turismo 5 is so late in being released, where's the best place to get a good steak in Tokyo, or why your hair is falling out. Grant may, or may not, be able to answer any of those questions, but his advice will, at the very least, be entertaining.

Also, if you have a story you would like to contribute to the newsletter, by all means write it up and use the "Submit An Article" button (affectionately known around the office as the "Bother The Staff" button) to get it to our editorial staff. All articles will be considered for inclusion in the newsletter, but only the most interesting and/or humorous stories will actually get published. We do have standards. Albeit, very low standards, but we have them.

Have a great month, we look forward to seeing you on track, once you have the all leaves on the yard raked up, of course.
